Where my inspiration came from for my
poems & Prayers
There was not many places I got my inspiration. All I really did was think of the word forgiveness and wrote down what came to mind and made sure it flowed well. As I looked for poems and prayers to put on my "collected" pages, I really came to terms of what forgiveness is. Collecting the poems and prayers also gave heaps of inspiration. for when it came to writing my own. I really enjoyed creating my poems because forgiveness is such a meaningful topic and I really connected with it.
I feel I used a variety of techniques, but the main ones I used were rhyme, metaphor and repetition.
It was so fun writing my poems and prayers, I hope you enjoy them :)

It Is, ForgivenessForgiveness is a china teacup;
it is fragile. It's a child; it is unpredictable. Forgiveness is the reddest of roses; it is delicate. It's a yellow warning sign; it is to be treated with caution. Forgiveness is a shepherd watching his sheep; it is vigilant. It's the breath rolling down your neck; it's always wanting you. Yet, forgiveness is also a fairytale; it is bound to have a happy ending. It's your seat by the bonfire; it is eternally warm. But in the end, forgiveness is the Circle of Life; it is never-ending. |

Compassionate, Empathetic Forgetting, Understanding, Healing Leaving the past behind Clemency They saySome say it's a state of mind,
others say they do it to be kind. Some say that it's a waste of time, and they would never do it, not even for a dime. Some believe after it's done, it's time to forget, others prefer to revenge and then regret. Some believe it's a way of life, to keep peace in the world and eliminate strife. Some confide that it is right, others say if not done properly, it'll come back to bite. Some confide that it should be asked for when suffering sickness, others like me, just use it when needed and call it forgiveness. |
